骨軟部＆整形外科領域放射線（画像）診断学において、
「Skeletal Radiology」誌がとても役立ちますよ、
ということを以前お話ししましたが、
最新号の「Volume 50, issue 4, April 2021」から下記3論文を紹介します。

「Edema-like marrow signal intensity: a narrative review with a pictorial essay. (Skeletal Radiology 2021;50(4):645–663.)」
骨髄内の浮腫様信号を呈する病態の総説です。

「An assessment of fluid–fluid levels on magnetic resonance imaging of spinal tumours. (Skeletal Radiology 2021;50(4):771–780.)」
Children and younger adults with spinal lesions containing > 2/3 FFLs were very unlikely to have malignancy. However, in patients > 50 years of age or those with lesions containing < 2/3 FFLs, a malignant lesion is much more likely.

「Intraosseous lipomas originating from simple bone cysts. (Skeletal Radiology 2021;50(4):801–806.)」
単純骨嚢胞は、経過とともに脂肪変性を来しうる。
In conclusion, this study suggests that at least some and probably most and possibly all SBCs heal with fatty transformation, either complete or part-cystic part-fatty. In reverse, intraosseous lipomas can arise from healing SBCs, though not every fatty bone lesion derives from an SBC.
