NEJMがとても役立ちますよ、ということを以前お話ししましたが、
最新号の“Case Records of the MGH”を紹介します。


「Case 25-2019: A 41-Year-Old Pregnant Woman with Abdominal Pain.（NEJM 2019;381:656-664.）」

今回は、本当によくある事例です。
医学生や前期研修医から知っておかれた方がよいと思いますよ。

「REVIEW ARTICLE: Pheochromocytoma and Paraganglioma.（NEJM 2019;381:552-565.）」

PheochromocytomaとParagangliomaの総説です。
本腫瘍と関連する症候群の解説も詳しいです。

「REVIEW ARTICLE: Drug-Induced Liver Injury — Types and Phenotypes.（NEJM 2019;381:264-273.）」


薬剤性肝障害に関するUpdateな総説です。
本病態に関する分類（Table 1）と臨床像のタイプ（Table 2）など有用ですよ。





ところで、NEJMの投稿規定において、下記のごとく、
統計解析に関する新ガイドラインが発行されました。
帰無仮説における「P <0.05」に関する問題点などから、
「statistical guidelines for authors」が改訂されたようです。

「Statistical Reporting Guidelines」

今後は、他の雑誌においても同じようなガイドラインを適用されそうですね。
このガイドラインを読めば、今後の研究に役立つと思います。
