当教室大学院2年生の光山容仁の論文がこの度、医学最高峰の雑誌の一つであるThe Lancet Healthy Longevity (IF=13.1)へ掲載されました。
タイトルは、Chest radiography as a biomarker of ageing: artificial intelligence-based, multi-institutional model development and validation in Japanで、多施設から収集した健常者の胸部レントゲン写真から年齢を推定するAIの作成を行いました。さらに、そのAIモデルを用いて有疾患者の年齢推定を行い、推定年齢から生物学的年齢を引いた年齢差分が様々な慢性疾患と関連することを検証しました。バイオマーカーとして余命予測、慢性疾患の重症度推定や手術時の合併症予測への応用が期待されます
