小児において乳頭体異常所見を呈する病態を解説しています。
thiamine deficiency, hypoxia-ischemiaなどが主な原因です。

「Brain Abnormalities and Epilepsy in Patients with Parry-Romberg Syndrome. (AJNR 2022;43(6):850-856.)」
Parry-Romberg症候群は片側顔面萎縮を特徴としますが、頭蓋内にも異常を生じます。

「Thalamus L-Sign: A Potential Biomarker of Neonatal Partial, Prolonged Hypoxic-Ischemic Brain Injury or Hypoglycemic Encephalopathy?. （AJNR 2022;43(6):919-925.)」
Barkovich先生のところからの論文。
低酸素性虚血性脳症では、視床のL字状サインを呈しうる。
