NEJMがとても役立ちますよ、ということを以前お話ししましたが、
最新号の“Case Records of the MGH”を紹介します。

 

「Case 7-2019: A 73-Year-Old Woman with Swelling of the Right Groin and Fever.（NEJM 2019;380:859-868.）」
この疾患に、こういった病態が生じやすいとは知りませんでした。
画像からだけでは難しいと感じます。やはり組織診が必要ですね。

 

ついでに、最近のNEJM論文も紹介します。
「Case 4-2019: An 18-Year-Old Man with Abdominal Pain and Hematochezia.（NEJM 2019;380:473-485.）」
教育的な症例です。
日頃から解剖を意識して読影していれば、わかると思いますよ。

 

「Case 3-2019: A 70-Year-Old Woman with Fever, Headache, and Progressive Encephalopathy.（NEJM 2019;380:380-387.）」
こちらは神経放射線マニア向けです。
ただし、鑑別はとても勉強になりますし、本病態はカテゴリーとしてよく話題になります。
